Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Cristina, and I fell head over heels in love with the world of insurance back in 1998. It all started when I realized that insurance isn't just about policies and numbers; it's about people, their dreams, and their future.
I found myself genuinely enjoying every conversation with my clients, building strong connections, and creating lasting friendships along the way. Getting to know them personally helped me understand their unique insurance needs, and I took great pride in providing them with the protection they truly required.
Assessing Need
But life has its twists and turns, and during the pandemic, fate presented me with another opportunity to serve in the insurance industry. This time, it was a wake-up call, as I witnessed the devastating impact of not having adequate insurance coverage. A number of my dear friends passed away, leaving their families without the means to continue the life they were accustomed to.
I did what I could to help, but it wasn't enough to sustain their livelihoods. It broke my heart to see how many Filipinos were still unconvinced about the importance of insurance and the security it could provide.
And that's when it hit me. I knew I had to do something more. I needed to bridge the gap and make insurance accessible, understandable, and essential for every Filipino. That's when the idea for PINOY INSURANCE was born.
